It was announced on November 4, 2024 that Netflix had renewed the series for a fifth and final season.[2]
Casting[]
On November 4, 2024, Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Carlacia Grant, Austin North, Drew Starkey and Fiona Palomo were confirmed to return as series regulars.[2] On June 20, 2025, Cullen Moss and J. Anthony Crane were promoted to series regulars,[4] while Rudy Pankow was confirmed to not return.[5]
Filming[]
The season is set to start filming spring of 2025.[1] Production later began on June 16, 2025 in Charleston, South Carolina.[3]
