Rafe and Sofia's relationship commences on one of her work days. Similarly like his younger sister Sarah, it consists of the Pogue-and-Kook dynamic. He's very nice and sweet towards her. They are broken up as of Season 4.

It is assumed that Rafe and Sofia did not know each other prior considering that she was a new addition in Season 3.

Season 3[]
Sofia is first introduced during Rafe Cameron's party in "Happy Anniversary" but could possibly be the alibi that Rafe mentions in "The Diary" to Barry. They are very flirty towards each other and Rafe offers to show her around Tannyhill. When we see her again the next day in "Tapping the Rudder" it's implied her and Rafe sleep together when she's shown waking up in bed with his shirt on. The shirt is first seen worn by Rafe in "The Heist" in Season 2 and then seen again in "Heists" in Season 3.
When nightfall comes around Sofia is shown working at her job at the Pelican Yacht Club while Rafe drinks and hangs out by her station towards the end of the episode. It is then implied that Rafe took her to his home, Tannyhill at the end of her shift when she's shown sleeping in the same bed in the next episode.
Sofia is very briefly shown until "Welcome to Kitty Hawk" when she has a quick sit down conversation with Rafe where he asks her for advice. She unknowingly helps Rafe decide if he should kill Ward Cameron or not, and ultimately ends up saving his life. We also learn that she was unable to continue her studies after High School which is why she eventually became a bartender in later years.
Season 4[]
In Season 4, it appears they are now dating, in a serious relationship. Rafe is seen scooping his father's ashes and submerging them in the water, and Sofia brings him into a hug to comfort him. Later, Sofia was seen cheering for Rafe at the Enduro, and later was very concerned for him and checked on him when he purposefully crashed into JJ Maybank. At Topper's Enduro win celebration party, Rafe overhears someone say that his father killed Sheriff Peterkin, and he becomes agitated. Sofia, alongside Topper try to calm Rafe down, but she seems put-ff when Rafe mentions that he expects this from The Cut, and not here, but nonetheless, she tries to comfort him. They end up going somewhere else, and Sofia notices Hollis Robinson approach Rafe, and makes her way over there to find out what they're talking about. She becomes more upset when Rafe refers to her as his "friend" when he introduced her to Hollis, but keeps her composure. When Hollis leaves, she brings it up, and Rafe teases her by asking whether she's jealous. She replies by asking if she should be and also refers Rafe as a friend and amused, Rafe continues by saying depending on what she has to offer and Sofia gently pushed him away, a slight smile on her face and Rafe brings her into a hug saying he's joking.
Sofia tans at Rafe's current home while listening to him discuss the deal with Hollis and says that no one at the country club has ever heard about it. Sofia advises against it and he agrees. Later, Sofia goes home to the cut where she greets her family. Her father discusses with her that Hollis wants her to push Rafe into accepting the business deal. Sofia becomes upset with Dario and says that its a "dishonest" thing to do and won't go behind Rafe's back. He agrees and says that she's a good person. Then, she goes to the yacht club to inform Rafe about Hollis being shady but stops in her tracks before entering the room when she overhears Ruthie and Rafe's conversation. He mentions that Sofia is not his girlfriend and that he wouldn't move in with her because she's a Pogue and he has "standards". A heartbroken Sofia makes her way back to her car fighting tears and eventually becomes angry. It's in this instance where she decides she will meet with Hollis to discuss details about the deal. Hollis offers her 25k to get Rafe to sign and gifts her money in advanced to persuade her. Sofia is aware that it's wrong and that there's something sketchy about it but still goes through with it due to her anger.
As Sofia and Rafe prepare to go to the beach she begins to convince him of taking the deal. She makes up lies about things she heard at the club to get him thinking. When Sofia and Rafe are sat in the sand Sarah walks by and she suggests that the eldest Cameron speaks with his sister but he denies. Later, when Ruthie messes with the Pogues Sofia is immensely upset with Rafe and his friends, to which he almost seems confused about. When nightfall comes around Rafe begins to think about Sarah and remembers what Ward said about keeping the family together. He sits next to Sofia who is asleep on the couch and stares at her conflicted. During the day, Rafe takes Sofia to Goat Island and apologizes to her about the beach incident from the previous day. He goes on to say that he wants to be a better man like his father and make amends with his sister and that he wants Sofia to be by his side. He explains that when the deal with Hollis pans out he wants to keep a piece of land and build a home with Sofia. Now feeling horrible about what she's done she tries to convince Rafe of changing his mind, to which he's completely caught off guard about and goes on to confess that he already signed and accepted the development deal. Sofia simply nods anxiously.
Sofia is working a shift at her job when she suddenly overhears patrons speaking about the Goat Island property. They explain that it'll become a nature preserve and it leaves Sofia confused considering those weren't the said terms of the deal. She calls Hollis asking for an explanation but Hollis simply assures her that they will be getting the land. Sofia proceeds to meet up with Hollis the next morning and they discuss the situation. At some point Hollis mentions that she can ruin Sofia and her family with three phone calls.
Once again Sofia overhears patrons conversing as she serves them. They mention how Hollis Robinson was shot and how the cops have her belongings. Sofia steps to the back and looks at her recently dialed and thinks about how she could potentially be questioned by the police due to their recent interactions. She then gets a phone call from Rafe and takes in the gravity of the situation
. She meets up with Rafe after work to discuss the complications but as she's about to come clean about betraying him he proposes to her. Sofia tries to tell him what's she's done but Rafe cuts her off again and tells her that he doesn't care because he has his own skeletons in the closet. He makes her his fiancée before going off to Morocco.
When Rafe arrives to Morocco he calls Sofia for help and it's then when she figures out that he's in Morocco. The thought makes Sofia nervous about what kind of things he might be doing to get the money back and how it's her fault. She tells him to be careful and they exchange I Love You's before ending the call. When Rafe is told by Groff about Sofia's betrayal he calls her. He ends their relationship quickly and tells her to move out of his house.

Rafe: Yeah, so…I’m just… I’m in a position right now where, uh, if I do what’s good for me… like the smart thing, then I gotta be really hard on… someone else.
Sofia: Well, hey. You gotta look out for yourself, right? No one else is going to.
