Randall Sunn is one of the recurring characters in Outer Banks. He is portrayed by Chris Gerard.
History[]
Not much is known about Mr. Dickinson but it is implied that he has worked at Kildare County High School since before the Pilot. [1]
Throughout the Series[]
Season 1[]
Mr. Sunn's first appearance on the show is when John B goes to see him to have a letter from Denmark Tanny translated from Gullah. [1]
Season 2[]
Mr. Sunn's first appearance in Season 2 is when we see JJ, Pope and Kiara in class when they get all get a text from John B and Sarah. The three of them excuse themselves and we see Mr. Sunn calling after them in the corridor. [2]
We then see him again in class when he calls Pope out to the corridor to talk to a person from the Scholarship Committee. They give him a letter and Pope later returns to class. [3]
His last appearance on the show is when the Pogues are at the school and Mr. Sunn pulls them aside because he found Denmark Tanny's diary. Here he also confirms that he knows that Pope is related to Denmark Tanny. [4]

Mr. Sunn is a middle-aged African American man with long braided dark brown hair, a beard and glasses. He can usually be seen wearing a t-shirt and trousers.
