Season 1[]
Lana Grubbs is the wife of Scooter Grubbs and is a resident of Outer Banks, North Carolina. When Scooter went missing after Hurricane Agatha she went to Ward Cameron to ask where her husband was. Sarah Cameron told her he helped her prepare The My Druthers boat for the storm and after that she didn’t know where he went after. Lana found her husband dead after his body washed up after drowning. She was attacked in her home by Kevin Ratter and David Cruz when the compass wasn’t found on Scooters boat or Motel room. After they left John B and JJ went to check if she was alright and asked why they wanted Big John’s Compass. She told him to hide the compass and leave. She denies the attack from the smugglers to Sheriff Peterkin despite her offering protection. After the incident with Ward and John B, John B confronts Lana about what really happened to his father. She explains when she returned early from work she overheard the conversation with Scooter and Ward about the accident with Big John, and his hidden discovery of the merchant gold. John B storms off to take revenge. She finally speaks out to Sheriff Peterkin about all that has happened and advises her to take caution on handling the situation as Ward Cameron has a lot of acquaintances. Her whereabouts and overall status is unknown after Peterkin's murder and John B’s pursuit. She makes no appearances after season 1.

Lana is a short, middle-aged woman with brown hair, brown lips, and a matching set of brown eyes. Lana can usually be seen wearing shawls and sweaters and is from the Cut.
