Season 2[]
Gavin blackmailed Ward Cameron because he saw Ward's son Rafe shoot Sheriff Peterkin. Ward then paid Gavin money in order to keep the man quiet. Kiara, JJ and Pope found out about Gavin because they realized that there was a pilot in the plane who must have seen Rafe when he killed Peterkin. They waited in a car in front of Gavin's house while Kiara called Gavin and told him that she knew about him. Gavin left his house and the three teens followed him. He met up with Ward and soon got into a fight with him. Ward proceeded to shoot Gavin with the gun that Rafe already used to kill Sheriff Peterkin.
