Fathers and Sons is the third episode of the third season of Outer Banks. It is the twenty-third episode of the series overall.
Synopsis[]
Big John and John B pick up where they left off - for better or worse. Cleo and Pope form a new club. Rafe reconnects with Ward.
Plot[]
John B has an emotional reunion with his father after tracking him down with the bells. They make a plan with Limbrey to help them leave the island. Big John has to make a few stops before. He goes to an antique shop to get a special artifact that could help him track down the exact location of El Dorado. Carlos and his men show up as well, looking for the same item, but John B and his dad are able to escape.
John B and Big John go back to the boat to go to the Outer Banks. Meanwhile, the Pogues themselves are en route back to the Outer Banks as well. Kiara and JJ have some romantic tension between them.
Meanwhile, Rafe found his way back to Guadeloupe by stealing someone’s ID and going on a cruise ship. Back in Guadaloupe, he finds that his father is out of his coma and is getting better. Ward asks Rafe to go back to the Outer Banks to sell off their home and businesses. He wants to set up his family for the future.
Big John and John B make it back to Outer Banks. John B falls asleep and wakes up to realize his dad is gone. Sarah is by his side instead.
