Cleo, Sarah and John B are friends, who are all members of the friend group The Pogues. They met when Cleo and her crewmates picked up John B and Sarah in the Atlantic after the two almost drowned during the wild escape from the police at the end of Season 1. They started out as enemies, turned allies and later on friends.

Throughout The Series

Season 2

Cleo met Sarah and John B when Cleo and her crewmates saved Sarah and John B from drowning in the Atlantic Ocean after they had ran from the cops in The Phantom. When her crewmates, Terrance and Stubby, realised that John B was wanted and that there was a $50.000 reward, they locked them in with the intent of turning them in to the cops when they arrived in Nassau. However, John B and Sarah managed to escape through a window. John B and Sarah later ran into Cleo and she took them to Terrance and Stubby. The two of them told Cleo, Terrance and Stubby about the gold and the 5 of them intended to steal the gold from Sarah's house. When that plan didn't work and the 5 of them were almost caught, they made up a new plan to steal the gold from Ward and Rafe. Rafe however, unbeknownst to the the 4 of them, had a gun and when he was aiming at John B, Cleo tried to take the gun from him and Rafe accidentaly shot Sarah. John B and Sarah managed to escape Rafe and Ward's escort when Sarah revealed she had been shot. Terrance found them and sent them to a doctor, Nick Marsch. Cleo gave them their gold back, and John B then managed to get Sarah to the doctor in time and she survived. While they were running from the Nassau Police, Sarah and John B accidentally ran Cleo over and Cleo then helped the two of them escape from Nassau on the boat that she, Terrance and Stubby had stolen from Sarah's family in the episode before.

In The Coastal Venture, the Pogues ran into Cleo on the boat, where she now worked. Cleo assisted the pogues in saving Sarah and getting the cross of santo domingo back, the latter being unsuccessfull. They escaped together to an unknown island, where she would become an offical pogue.
