Carla Limbrey is a major antagonist in Outer Banks and in Season 2. She is portrayed by Elizabeth Mitchell.
She is a long-time Charleston native; a compelling woman with a level of toxicity and menace underneath her seemingly courteous ways.

Season 2[]
Limbrey is from Charleston, South Carolina. She sends Pope an invitation to come to her house and sign it with the same symbol that Denmark Tanney used. Upon arriving she makes it clear that she is interested in a treasure of her own and that Pope is supposed to be owning. She follows Pope, together with her halfbrother Renfield, to Outer Banks and demands a key in return for an audio recording that will implicate Ward and Rafe in the shooting of Peterkin. Trying to buy time John B tricks her by giving her an old key of his. Limbrey returns to get the real key from Pope and proceed to go visit Tannyhill in order to find a room with a map that is supposed to lead her to the treasure. Getting help by Rafe they travel to Angel Oak only to find a coffin, not the treasure. Rafe continues to follow Sarah and after the pogues find the treasure, the Cross of Santo Domingo, he an Renfield take it. They deliver the cross to Carla but the treasure she seeks inside the cross is gone, furious by Renfield mocking her she shoots him dead. She asks Rafe for help geting up from the floor, he seems to going to help her but instead gets the gun away from her and takes off with the truck and the cross.
She is last seen in the last scenes of the season where she is visiting and old apartment, telling the man inside that he contacted her. The man being Big John.
Season 3[]
Limbrey and Big John are on the island looking at the plane crash. Big John tells her that he has wanted to tell his son that he's been alive, but that it would put John B at risk. After John B has an emotional reunion with his father after tracking him down with the bells, they make a plan with Limbrey to help them leave the island.
After Big John and John B start their treasure hunt, Limbrey takes the Twinkie. They realize and track her down. She tells Big John he didn’t hold up his end of the deal. He was supposed to retrieve a magical healing shroud for her. He gives her a fake one instead. She takes it and is able to walk again, believing the shroud to be real.
Physical Appearance[]
Limbrey has short blonde hair and well mannered like an old southern belle. She is suffering from a disease that is slowly breaking down her body, forcing her to walk with the help of crouches and needing assistance much of her daily life.
